Our vision is to make treasury a data centric organization and our mission is to ensure that data used and owned by Treasury is fully understood, accessible, controlled and fit for purpose. Our team acts as the business owner of the new the centralization data consumption solution to allow for seamless integration into TBSM applications and business users and develop self-serve user capabilities .

- Support the creation of goals and objectives for the business unit/function. Communicate those goals and objectives to the team.

- Manage oversight process, risk-based identification and monitoring of related risks and regulatory compliance across the supported functions, while ensuring key controls and processes are effectively managed.
- Proactive in championing the identification, escalation, and resolution of data issues identified as part of projects.
- Communicates with all data roles, business segments and corporate functions as needed.
- Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required.
- Proactively manage risk and compliance to regulatory standards and in accordance with TBSM target operating model.
- Builds a strong team exhibiting positive team dynamics and create a working environment that encourages productivity and innovation
Specific Responsibilities for this role
- Leads the delivery of required data by TBSM data users.
- Partners with Technology and TBSM Business to create, implement and maintain a standardized consumption point, consumption pattern and a physical articulation of curated and ready to consume treasury data to ensure data availability and quality for downstream TBSM Business users.
- Accountable to ensure business information is available to users to build, develop, design, and implement capabilities for delivery of curated data for efficient consumption.
- Accountable to support data modeling capabilities to structure business data to be consumed.
- Business product owner of TBSM's curated data consumption for the source input data and serves as business lead on its implementation in the overall TBSM source input data strategy and "Building for the Future" program.
- Responsible to solicit, analyze, and understand input data requirements to enable design, development and build of the consumption layer data solution.

BREADTH & DEPTH:
- Oversee and lead a large and/or highly complex, and diverse reporting function for an area of significant risk, complexity or scope.
- Strategic partner to leadership team on the management of the portfolio and financials, with deep industry, external / internal, enterprise knowledge, recognizing and anticipating emerging trends and; identifying operational efficiencies and opportunities with other business management / enterprise areas.
- Facilitate key strategic discussions and provide thought leadership to executive audience (output may include strategic roadmap and/or deliverables/ frameworks/ short to long term goals etc.)
- Set operational team direction and collaborate with others to execute on common goals.
- Focus on longer-range planning for functional area (e.g. 12 months or greater)
- Generally, reports to executive management
EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATION
- Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance or computer science) Graduate's degree preferred with either progressive project work experience or
- 7+ year of relevant experience; higher degree education and research tenure can be counted.
- Deep data knowledge for both retail and wholesale financial instruments/products
- Treasury business domain knowledge, such as liquidity, capital, interest rate risk or fund transfer pricing.
- Technical data analytics (SQL/Python/VBA...), reporting tools(Tableau, Power BI, SAS...), and people management skills
- Large scale project experience
