DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
Capital Risk and Governance (CRG) is a newly formed team within Risk Management with a mandate to provide second line oversight for the Bank's Enterprise and US Capital Management activities . As part of this team, the Capital Risk Analyst Intern will be part of a two-year roadmap of establishing the foundation for the independent Capital Risk management oversight function.

Position Summary
Provide a comprehensive and diverse range of capital risk management activities and contribute to the assessment of key capital risks through identification, control, and ongoing review. Oversee and make recommendations aligned with overall strategy and industry best practices. Ensure that capital programs and policies are managed, comply with internal/external requirements, and align with business priorities.

- Contribute to the buildout for the second line o versight of Capital Management, including the independent review and challenge of capital reporting, stress testing results, limit calibration, and capital actions.
- Participate in the Independent Capital Evaluation including the review of processes, procedures, and controls to ensure that the business, control, and infrastructure functions are meeting the organization's effective risk management requirements.
- Ensure the compliance of Capital Risk management processes with regulations and internal control programs.
- Provide analytical support in the identification and assessment of risks and make recommendations to better manage TD's Risk appetite.
- Adhere to enterprise policies and frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for our business area.
- Facilitate, and/or implement actions and remediation plans to address performance / risk /governance issues.
- Contribute to the team's success by assisting others in the completion and performance of work activities; provide training, coaching and/or guidance as appropriate .
- Proactively identify opportunities for process efficiencies where opportunities exist.
- Liaise with business partners including Treasury, Balance Sheet Management, Front Office, second-line risk partners, and Internal Audit .
- Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts .
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
- Demonstrated strong conceptual and analytical abilities
- Strong internal control orientation
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, communication skills (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail , ability to multi-task / manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

- This position is a 4-month work term and will commence September 2 to December 19, 2025 .
