As the Senior Manager of Share of Wallet Growth, you will be the architect behind our strategy to deepen customer relationships, ensuring that BMO becomes the primary financial partner for our retail customers. Reporting to the Director of Customer Onboarding & Digital Adoption, and a key member of the Everyday Banking Products & Onboarding team, you will lead the charge in creating a compelling vision and roadmap to maximize the value we bring to our customers across lending, investments, savings, and beyond.
This role is not just about maintaining the status quo-it's about driving innovation, challenging the norm, and delivering tangible results. As a newly created, high-visibility position, you will have significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the organization.
The Senior Manager works in close collaboration with Marketing, Credit Risk, Analytics Centre of Excellence, Customer Experience & Workforce Effectiveness, Digital, and other Personal product teams.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and articulate a clear, multi-year strategic roadmap to grow BMO's share of wallet within the retail banking segment.
- Identify, prioritize, and capitalize on opportunities to enhance customer engagement and increase product penetration.
- Collaborate with key partners across the organization to align on strategic goals and drive the evolution of critical capabilities.
- Lead the end-to-end execution of complex, high-impact initiatives that span across multiple functions and business units.
- Utilize global best practices to inform strategy, ensuring BMO remains at the forefront of customer-centric banking.
- Oversee project delivery from ideation through to implementation, navigating challenges and removing barriers to success.
- Help drive profitability, market share, and service levels by developing and managing comprehensive pricing strategies (Acquisition & Portfolio) for our suite of retail products and relevant campaigns/channels
- Leverage robust data analytics to inform pricing strategies, drive profitability, and optimize risk management practices.
- Support the continuous evolution of policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risk and enhance customer value.
- Manages risk associated with portfolio of products, including setting risk parameters and tolerance for credit losses.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in retail banking, management consulting, or a similar strategic role with a proven track record of driving business growth.
- Product or Campaign Management (In-depth)
- P&L Management Experience is an asset
- Credit Risk experience is an asset
- Education: MBA, Masters in business analytics or equivalent work experience
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strategic Thinking: Exceptional ability to think strategically, with a strong grasp of how to develop and implement impactful business strategies.
- Analytical Mindset: Advanced analytical skills with a keen ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
