Our forensic accounting team in Montreal is looking for a Manager specialized in workplace harassment investigations and the management of whistleblower hotlines. This role involves conducting thorough investigations, issuing legal opinions, and making recommendations while ensuring the safety and anonymity of client's employees. The importance of this position lies in its ability to build trust and maintain a respectful and secure work environment for everyone.

What you will do
  • Acts as an expert lawyer in workplace investigations, manages the file and produces an expert report when required.
  • Acts as an independent expert in the context of a workplace investigation.
  • Ensures compliance with deadlines, follow-up and budget compliance, and acts as a project manager to ensure the profitability and productivity of mandates.
  • Also ensures quality control of deliverables and acts as a strategic interlocutor for the client with the partner responsible for the mandate.
  • Takes charge of particularly complex or sensitive cases, such as those involving senior executives, those with high litigation potential or those involving crisis management.
  • Approaches potential clients to promote our reporting services for incidents involving allegations of harassment, violence, discrimination, any other inappropriate or unethical misconduct.
  • Maintains and develops relationships with representatives of the various KPMG service lines, the firm's existing clients and participates in the solicitation of new clients at the level of reporting lines and harassment investigations.
  • Ensures the development of the skills of the professionals under his supervision, in particular through knowledge transfer, coaching, mentoring and training on harassment-related subjects.
What you bring to the role
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in conflict prevention and resolution, harassment, discrimination or violence in organizations, including investigation experience.
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in an appropriate field of specialization.
  • Excellent communication skills - written and spoken.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical and synthesis skills and attention to detail.
  • Team and collaborative spirit.
