Scope of Work

Paladin Security is looking to add 2 part-time officers to their team for the purpose of providing a security presence to deter ongoing issues of property damage and theft. The Security Operative will be required to provide general security services during prescribed hours and duties shall include, but not be limited to:

• Maintaining ongoing visibility and presence.
• Monitoring of access points and ongoing patrol of the designated site.
• Responding to site breaches, incidents and other alarming behavior as required.
• Scanning for drug paraphernalia and removal in accordance with health and safety protocols.
• Recording of observations by way of daily shift reports.
• Completion of incident reports as needed.
• Reporting of any criminal acts to local law enforcement.

Work Conditions:

• Outdoor work environment, subject to weather conditions.
• Officer will be stationed in vehicle however they will be required to do some foot patrol.

Staff Profile:

• Previous security related experience would be an asset but not necessarily required
• Strong attention to detail and highly vigilant
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Ability to work independently and handle confrontational situations calmly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Approachable, friendly and courteous
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods and work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong report-writing skills
• Use of own vehicle

Hours of Work:

• Position 1- Monday to Friday- 02:00-06:00 (20 hours/week)
• Position 2- Saturday/Sunday- 02:00-06:00 (8 hours/week)

Education Requirements (Any)

High School Diploma/GED

This job reports to the Client Service Manager
