The Opportunity:

WSP Canada has an exciting opportunity to join the Future Ready® Team as a Future Ready ® Senior Analyst at any mutually agreed upon WSP Canada office. As the Future Ready ® Senior Analyst , you will support the Future Ready® team in executing initiatives as required to deliver the Future Ready® program, particularly focusing on engaging staff and clients across Canada on future strategic level trends that are or will be impacting their current and future projects. What you can expect to do here:
  • Research and analyze topics related to changes in society, resources, climate, technology, as well as market trends to inform client engagement events.
  • Assist with preparing materials for internal and external facing uses, including but not limited to proposals, reports, publications, and presentations.
  • Promote and champion the Future Ready® program with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with staff from all business sectors in WSP's service offerings to identify opportunities for engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with facilitating workshops and other engagement events.
  • Present at internal speaking engagements with WSP staff across Canada, and externally at client engagement events, and at industry conferences.
  • Travel as necessary for short-duration trips and events.
  • Develop internal resources such as practical guides, case studies, and project delivery materials.
  • Liaise with the Future Ready® team, and other WSP staff from a variety of technical and non-technical backgrounds.
  • Strategize ways to incorporate Future Ready® into current business practices and workflows to integrate future-focused thinking into all aspects of the project lifecycle.
  • Other duties as assigned/required that relate to engaging clients, such as researching and analyzing business and market-based insights.

What you'll bring to WSP:
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Experience in consulting services, project delivery, sustainability and resilience, and customer service would be an asset.
  • Demonstrate interest and understanding of societal, technological, and market trends, as well as sustainability and resilience.
  • Able to identify, understand and explain complex interactions across all aspects of our society, technology, resource, and climate landscape.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and others), SharePoint and other communications-related software programs.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative and able to form partnerships across different sectors and business units.
  • Strong at multi-tasking, organized and adaptable to shifting priorities.
Nice to have
  • Experience in facilitating engagement events.
  • Able to prepare thought leadership articles, and support in the preparation of whitepapers, and industry conferences.
  • Bilingual (English and French).

Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): $80,800 - $111,100

WSP Canada is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it will pay for this position based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to the specific geographic location.
