Canadian Business Banking Finance

BUSINESS/ DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

The Canadian Business Banking Finance team supports the Canadian Business Bank with Finance deliverables ranging from monthly management reporting, forecasting and planning, business casing, ad hoc financial support and advisory. Business Banking consists of several lines of businesses including Commercial Banking, Small Business Banking, TDAF Auto Finance, Merchant Solutions and Divisional Office.

INTERN RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Develop business cases for new initiatives, and build reporting to help monitor progress against new initiatives within the business
• Build new tools and workflows to automate and improve efficiency & automation
• Support finance team in forecasting and annual planning process, validating assumptions based on business expectations and analysis, and highlight risks and opportunities
• Support business ad-hoc asks from CBB business

• Assist finance team with monthly management reporting process, analyzing trends and variances against Plan, Forecast, YoY, etc.
• Preparing and presenting monthly results package to stakeholders, including key insights and value-adding highlights on business performance
• Monitoring and reporting of key operating metrics
