About the Job:
Mindwire is currently seeking a Business Analyst - User Access Management to work for our valued private sector client.

The position is located in Ottawa, ON

Responsibilities:

• Identify, recommend and implement security solutions, automations and enhancements to improve overall user access management and ensure compliance sustainability.

• Analyze and resolve requests and incidents related to security roles, user access and Segregation of Duty in Financial Applications ensuring access controls are respected and changes effectively communicated to all impacted stakeholders.

• Collaborate closely with System and Business Owners, End Users, and the Compliance team to define processes and frameworks that align with access management control standards and deliver an improved user experience.

• Support audit cycles by preparing documentation, conducting data analysis, assisting with auditors' walkthroughs and assisting with findings remediation.

• Engage in various initiatives and projects to collect, analyze and translate business requirements into system specifications, perform testing and deliver security related items for new or existing tools or functionalities.

• Develop reference materials and facilitate the transition of knowledge from the project group to appropriate support teams and stakeholders acting as primary point of contact for access management and security related matters.

• Provide support for Financial Applications day-to-day master-data related requests.

• Develop new and updated documentation and procedures for finance-related workflows and processes.

• Proven experience as a similar role preferably supporting ERP or financial applications.

• Expertise in security solutions and automations, with a keen interest in industry tools.

• Familiarity with access management control standards and experience in analyzing and resolving security-related incidents.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in security analysis, user access management, management of complex Segregation of Duty requirements or related field

• Security Management, Finance designation or related degree

• Experience with ERP systems such as IFS, D365, SAP would be considered an asset.

• Experience and understanding of compliance requirements and audit cycles related to finance functions are considered a strong asset
