Analysis Manager, OneStream

Very large and complex multi-national company headquartered in Canada. Great role for someone who is seeking a friendly corporate culture and very interesting, challenging, and diverse work. Candidates must have hands-on experience doing analysis within OneStream. WORK LOCATION- Vancouver or Toronto highly preferred, but there is potential for this role to be remote for a very qualified candidate.

Our client is a very well-established and successful company with operations across North America, ~2000 employees, 10+ legal entities, 30+ operating sites across Canada and the US, etc. They have a great reputation among their happy customers and partners. The 40+ person finance team is collaborative and friendly, and the leaders promote productive workdays with plenty of communication and organization to limit unnecessary overtime.

Our client seeking a new Financial Analysis Manager / OneStream Manager who will be the technical owner and face of the OneStream application to all internal OneStream users. The Manager will be responsible for the daily management, administration, and technical end user support of OneStream. Solutions-oriented consulting for new system development work will also be a key function in this position. This role is positioned in the CFO’s finance team and will also work closely with the CTO’s IT team- there is opportunity for long-term career growth within Finance and/or IT (perhaps even within other departments!) depending on the hired individual’s chosen career path. The hiring Director for this role is a fantastic mentor and boss who is happy to nurture the career development of a smart and eager employee. The primary qualification is proficiency in OneStream. Qualified candidates may have all sorts of different career paths to date- perhaps as Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Financial Planning Analyst, Project Manager, ERP Consultant, etc. Our client will potentially consider a candidate who is very proficient in Hyperion Planning/HFM, instead, as long as the candidate is very able and willing to quickly ramp up to super user status on OneStream. Apart from this, the qualifications are mostly soft skills- communication, collaboration, teamwork, organization, etc. SWIM can give more insight into this organization’s vibrant culture and into the opportunities for long-term career growth.

• Minimum 5+ years’ relevant and progressive work experience.
• Post-secondary education in finance, business, or IT.
• Designation or qualification such as CPA, CFA, PMP, or MBA is an asset.
• Systems-
  • Minimum 2 years experience using OneStream (or potentially Hyperion/HFM).
  • Experience using SAP and/or Oracle products is an asset.
  • Experience using data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Anaplan or Tableau.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including QuickViews.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 

Very competitive base salary commensurate with level of skills, experience, and education, likely in the range of $100,000 to $130,000. The company will provide their new OneStream Manager with a solid overall compensation package, including a generous bonus program, professional development support, and excellent health, dental, & vision benefits.   

Strong preference for candidates who can work on a hybrid schedule in Vancouver or Greater Toronto. That said, we are also open to candidates who live in other cities who want to work REMOTE. The Manager can work from home in any of the Canadian provinces or US states where the organization has operations, which covers many of the major metropolitan cities in both countries (SWIM can provide a full list). If a remote employee, then North American business travel will be 10% to 15%. If based in Vancouver or Greater Toronto, business travel will be under 10%.
